Dear RPM PDP Working Group members,

On behalf of the Co-Chairs, please note that we will not hold a Working Group meeting tomorrow, 07 November.  The next scheduled meeting will be held on Wednesday, 14 November at 1700 UTC for 90 minutes. A calendar invite and notice will be sent separately.

Per the timeline, we had anticipated reviewing the responses from Analysis Group to the clarifying questions/comments on the Final Report of the TMCH Sunrise and Claims surveys on 07 November.  However, as you may have seen the Co-Chairs have agreed to extend the deadline for Working Group members to submit clarifying questions/comments to EOD on Wednesday, 07 November to provide more time for members to review the report and submit feedback.  Following this extension, the revised plan is as follows:

1. Ask Analysis Group to respond to all clarifying questions/comments by Wednesday, 21 November (two-week period for their response);
2. Schedule a follow-up Working Group call with Analysis Group to go through their responses on Wednesday, 28 November, if needed.

In the meantime, we’ll revert to the Trademark Clearing House (TMCH) refresher presentation that was planned for 14 November per the timeline.  This is a session with staff from ICANN’s Global Domains Division (GDD) to explain in some detail the TMCH Functional Specification, i.e. “how it works” rather than “what it is”. In particular, an area of focus would be how and when a registry and/or registrar interacts with the TMCH database, the CNIS etc. in the form of a functional, operational walk through.
