I chime in to introduce myself, a US-based trademark and domain lawyer for 20 years. including a dozen years working with ICANN to improve its policy development and rights protection mechanisms. My first ICANN meeting was 2004, and I was elected to the GNSO Council from 2006 to 2010 by the Business Constituency (and also as an Officer of the BC). I chaired the GNSO Working Group that found an effective solution to the "domain tasting" problem, and participated in at least half a dozen different working groups relating to the New gTLD Program, including the RPM-WG and the STI implementation team.Currently I chair the International Trademark Association's Internet Committee -- Subcommittee for RPM Review. I also participate in the GNSO's IGO Names and Subsequent Rounds WGs, and the CCWG-Accountability group looking at changes to ICANN's Bylaws and accountability mechanisms. I look forward to working with so many new people to examine RPM issues, and greatly appreciate J.
