Hello All: 

My name is Kiran Malancharuvil.  I am the Policy Counselor at MarkMonitor and I am the primary representative of MarkMonitor to the Intellectual Property Constituency.  I currently serve on the IPC Leadership Team as Participation/Policy Coordinator).  I am a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) Internet Committee (and chair of the Geographic Terms, ccTLDs and IDNs Subcommittee).  I am a trademark attorney by education and training and I have experience in international and domestic trademark prosecution, litigation, anti-counterfeiting, anti-piracy and anti-fraud enforcement efforts and brand protection counseling.  My current focus is consumer protection advocacy and I work with domestic and international governments and trade organizations to further this goal.
