Dear SSC Members,

As shared during the last SSC Meeting on 24 June 2025, the Expressions of Interests (EOIs) for the GNSO’s Non-Registry Liaison and Alternate to the Customer Standing Committee (CSC) ended last Wednesday, 16 July 2025. We received a total of three (3) candidates.

The poll for this selection process is now OPEN and will CLOSE on Monday, 28 July 2025 at 23:59 UTC. Kindly complete the survey using the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/8M7S2WM

As noted in the overview on the wiki, groups may appoint one alternate to ensure the CSC attendance requirements are met. While the GNSO is encouraged to fill the non-registry alternate liaison position, it is not mandatory. For the GNSO, it will depend on the qualifications of the candidates. The GNSO’s selection process for the alternate position will run concurrently with the liaison selection. The candidate next in line may be appointed as the alternate or selected at the discretion of the SSC.

Once again, please note that the survey is intended as a discussion guide and not as a means of making a final determination. However, your participation is highly valued, as your input will provide helpful insights into the views of SSC members and support the decision-making process when the SSC convenes on Wednesday, 30 July 2025 at 20:00 UTC, to discuss the candidates.
