Dear SSC members,

First, I would like to share some changes to the membership of the SSC. As you know, SG/Cs are asked to reconfirm membership following the AGM each year. While most members from last year are continuing on in the coming year, there are a few changes:

• NCSG: Sam Lafranco and Johan (Julf) Helsingius are replacing Renata Aquino Ribeiro and Rafik Dammak
• RySG: Erica Varlese is replacing Maxim Alzoba (this was announced prior to the AGM)

Welcome to the new members, and in Julf’s case, welcome back!

In addition, I would like to share some details about the SSC’s next assignment. The GNSO has opened an Expression of Interest (https://gnso.icann.org/en/announcements/announcement-20nov18-en.htm)  for a GNSO nominated mentor for the ICANN Fellowship Program. The EOI will close on 7 December. The GNSO Council has asked the SSC to recommend a candidate for this position in time for the Council’s meeting on 20 December. In preparation for this selection process, please complete the following:
