The consensus call is now closed. Seeing no objections to putting forward Farell Folly’s name for the Mentor role, this will be considered a recommendation by full consensus for the Council’s consideration during its 21 January meeting.

Attached you will find the three motions that Carlton submitted to Council yesterday for the upcoming meeting. Farell’s name will be filled in on the relevant motion.

Dear SSC members,

As a follow-up to today’s call, the SSC has reached preliminary agreement to recommend Farell Folly as the GNSO-Nominated Mentor to the ICANN Fellowship Program. If you object to this recommendation, please respond on the mailing list no later than Monday, 11 January at 23:59 UTC. If no objections are received, the SSC will consider this to be a full consensus recommendation and submit it to the GNSO Council.

In today’s SSC discussion, members noted the following comment included in the poll to evaluate candidates: “Overall, none of the candidate appears to have a matching skills that is required for the fellowship mentoring program.” None of the SSC members present on the call appear to have submitted the comment. If possible, SSC members request that the individual making this comment provide additional explanation.
