On request to NORID - the .NO Registry Operator, I have received the following numbers for inter-registrar transfers;

2017: 156 270

2018: 149 835

2019: 152 558

2020: 167 688

2021 per 31. May: 70 728

The .NO domain name policy requires only a valid auth-code for an inter-registrar transfer, i.e. no FOAs are required.

The above statistics do not include transfers to "REG0" - a process NORID uses for a deletion of a .NO domain name.

According to NORID, the number of “disputes” are zero (0) after mandatory auth-codes were implemented for an inter-registrar transfer.
