Dear Working Group members,
Please find attached the latest version of the swimlane for the proposed Inter-Registrar Transfer in preparation for agenda item #3 below. This version has evolved considerably since the last time we reviewed the swimlane. The goal of this
work product is to provide a visual representation of the domain transfer process and the touch points of the WG’s proposed recommendations. It’s not possible to account for every possible path of how a domain is transferred, especially those that have fringe
issues preventing a transfer from completing. However, generally speaking it should account for the majority of transfer transactions in this future state. A few points to consider, which I will highlight during this agenda item:
