For your collaboration: Transfer Policy Issue Scoping Document
Dear Transfer Policy Review Scoping Team: During the Transfer Policy Review Scoping Team’s meeting today, the members present agreed it would be helpful to begin identifying known issues with the current Transfer Policy. Following a review of the issues inventory, the Scoping Team can ascertain the appropriate mechanism to recommend to the GNSO Council with respect to next steps, e.g., EPDP, PDP, other. Team members began to identify specific Transfer Policy issues that they believed should be subject to further policy development, and Policy Support Staff began capturing the issues in a Collaborative Transfer Policy Issue Scoping Document. In advance of the Team’s next meeting on 9 January 2020, please continue to add additional issues into the left column. In the right column, please add more details as to what specifically needs to be addressed with respect to the issue. When adding Policy Issues and Rationales, please make sure you are in SUGGESTING mode and begin the rationale statement with your Name/Affiliation. If possible, please assign a Priority (High, Medium, Low). The Policy Support Team has included an example; however, please feel free to delete, edit, or elaborate as you see fit. Lastly, members are welcome to respond to other’s comments; however, please do not make direct edits. Instead, use the side-bar comment feature to make the comment or suggestion for change. Many thanks, and wishing everyone a very happy and restful holiday break! Best regards, Berry and Caitlin
