And stays current. It's "staying current" that worries me. The first thing they teach you in database school is not to have two sources of truth. For if you have one, there is a fact of the matter; but if you have two it's anyone's guess which is correct.
Well, this isn't a single database but two separate systems. Now which is the system of record I guess is an ICANN policy issue. But I see it no differently than my contact information or name servers. If I change either with the RAR, that info must also be updated in the RY. How is this date any different? In the current thick gTLDs, don't the RARs already have to keep their data up to date in the RY? -andy
