Following a “beta” phase, the production RST v2.0 environment has now been launched. This environment differs from the Operational Testing and Evaluation (OT&E) environment in that it will be used to test the registry systems of applicants in the Registry Service Provider (RSP) Evaluation Program. As such, the RSP Portal will create and configure the test objects defining the TLD(s) and registry functions being tested (in OT&E, users are free to configure these as needed). ICANN org is currently testing the integration between the RSP portal and RST systems. This is expected to be completed by 11 August 2025. After this date, applicants will have the opportunity to begin production RST testing once applicants have cleared technical screening.
