Dear all,

Attached, please find the draft November 2021 CSC Report for your review. Redline changes are tracked against the October report.

Please note the comment in the ‘Report of Escalations’ section. I will be prepared to make edits as necessary during the upcoming meeting as a result of discussions.

Best,

Jennifer

Hi Amy,

Are you OK for me to send the attached report to the CSC? I think during this next meeting it might make sense to revisit the draft report after item 5 on the agenda, “Overview and explanation of SLAs/Thresholds: For information and discussion (to be presented by PTI)”. If you agree I could note this as a suggestion in my email when I distribute the report. Seems odd to ask them to consider the report fully before they have had this discussion.

Best,

Jennifer

Hi Jennifer,

This month we have an exception  - an escalation.

As a FYI- we do not  reveal the name of the  person/organizations who  escalate.  We keep the note short on the report  but will elaborate during the  meeting.  Once the escalation  is resolved I  will include a note about its resolution in whichever  month  the resolution occurred.

Here is the recommended language to use:

During this reporting period, PTI has notified the CSC of one escalation. The CSC
has discussed the escalation and determined that it is not a persistent performance
issue or systemic problem associated with the provision of the IANA naming
services.

However, sometimes there is someone on the CSC  who doesn’t want us  anticipating  that the CSC has no issues with the  escalation.  Maybe give them  the 2nd sentence as possible response….not sure.

Dear CSC,

Please find attached the IANA Naming Function Performance report for October 2021. During the month of October, we met 100% of the SLA thresholds.

During the month of November PTI received one escalation from an organization applying for an .int domain who did not meet any of the three eligibility requirements.

We look forward to answering any questions you may have about the report.

Regards,

Amy Creamer
