The request you referred to is a ccTLD transfer request that was concluded in March. This type of request involves several steps as described in detail here: https://www.iana.org/help/cctld-delegation. There was nothing unusual about this request, the time reflected in the 46.26 days is the staff review time from beginning to end. The duration is in line with previous requests that ran the full transfer process.

 

As it happens, this SLA Staff Processing – Validation and Reviews – Category IV (ccTLD Creation/Transfer) is one of the SLAs being tracked on the monthly CSC report. We had a discussion on it during the March CSC meeting and staff have been asked to do more work on this SLA by the May meeting.

It is still within the SLA of course but I’m interested to know the background of the 46.26 day processing time for the ccTLD creation/transfer time on page 18.

 

Perhaps you can give us the background on todays call.
