I have included a summary of comments received.  You are requested to review the summary and suggest any edits. 

In addition, we would need to do the analysis of each of these points made by the community.  Based on our discussions, I will update the analysis section as we proceed, for eventual publication on behalf of IDNGWG.

Kindly note that the public comment period on the IDN Guidelines has now ended.  There are five comments, accessible from https://www.icann.org/public-comments/idn-guidelines-2017-03-03-en[icann.org], by the following entities:

· NIC Chile

· Open-Xchange

· Govt. of India

· Internet Architecture Board (IAB)

· Registries Stakeholder Group (RySG)

As next steps, IDNGWG needs to review these comments, develop IDNGWG response (for posting by 9 June) and finalize the Guidelines for publication.

Dear IDN Guidelines WG members,

We have recently received a request from Registries Stakeholder Group (RySG) to extend the deadline for public comments for two weeks.  After consulting with Edmon and Mats, we are now proceeding to extend the PC date as requested by RySG.  This is FYI and for any feedback.
