Please find attached the redline version of the updated document. This includes the edits suggested by Edmon incorporated in the latest version of the document. It
also specifies whether the variant refers to a code point or a label. We have referred to variant code point also as “variant rules”. I have tried to adjust that to refer consistently to variant code points – just to make sure these do not get confused with
label evaluation rules.
Please let us know if you have any further feedback. Again, we are aiming to publish this on 9 May (LA time). If you need more time to review, please let us know.

our own glossary to use IDN variants where appropriate rather than just “varaints”.
