This is what we have in the minutes from last time:

 

ICANN 57 meeting.  The WG decided that it will aim to finish the draft guidelines in next three meetings and try to publish them for public comment for discussion during ICANN 57.  The WG noted that there are a total of five meetings left before that time.  In case there is no agreement on certain issues, multiple versions may be put out for community input.

I think we should have a public meeting in Hyderabad.

My recollection is that we defer our decision on whether our interim report would go out before Hyderabad or not.  But having a public meeting and reporting on our progress is something I think we should do regardless if we have our interim report published for public comments.

I'm ok with the date. If this is just a placeholder, I'm fine with it. But I think we still need to decide if there is something to present to the community. As I recall, at the last meeting we deferred committing to a meeting until we'd assessed our progress.

This is a new meeting scheme.  The internal schedule circulated for planning suggests that opening ceremony is on 5th Nov. 

 

Not hearing any further feedback, I am scheduling the meeting on 5th Nov. after the opening ceremony.  This will ensure that those traveling to ICANN57 have arrived.  In case there are alternate suggestions, please share them soon, as scheduling window will be closing soon.

Hi, Sarmad,

 

The meeting was scheduled 3-9 November. Isn't the opening ceremony supposed to happen on Nov. 3rd? Why it is on the 5th?  

 

In addition, I am planning to arrive Hyderabad early morning Nov. 3rd. Not sure what time UTC 11 is for the local time. If I can make it, it sounds an option. Of course, after the opening ceremony also works for me.

Dear All,

I wanted to check ifIDNGWG would like to schedule a face to face meetingduring ICANN 57 to present the work to the community. 

Ifwe agree there arethe following options we can consider:

1.     Thursday 3 Nov. at 11 UTC, which is our regularly scheduled day and time

2.     Sat. 5 Nov. after the opening ceremony (and before 1pm)

3.     Please suggest another day/time in case the above don’t work
