As no further comments were received on the draft Terms of Reference by the requested date, this document is now considered final and adopted. Congratulations on this first milestone!

I have attached the PDF version here, which will be posted to the wiki. We’ll also draft a short blog similar to this one from IFR1 to share this milestone and the team’s progress more broadly.

Subject: Final Call: IFR2 Terms of Reference

Dear IFR2 members,

I have updated and cleaned up the draft Terms of Reference document based on the discussion during the 23 January meeting. The following sections have been updated:

Requirements for Recommendation Drafting (p10): Updated this section to more accurately reflect the Bylaws language (shall vs. should etc.)
Definitions (p21): Replaced this section with a statement pointing to the Acronyms & Terms on icann.org, and the definitions in the IANA Naming Function contract.

Please make any final comments or raise proposed changes by the end of your day on Tuesday 6 February. If no comments are received by then we’ll consider this document adopted by team consensus.
