Hi Chris, Co-Chairs, et al.  From my standpoint, what is missing from these proposals is the fact that there are no specific references whatsoever to Accountability or Transparency as obligations contained in the ByLaws at Article 3 and Article 4 respectively.  See

https://www.icann.org/en/governance/bylaws

As you know, the Namecheap IRP Panel found decisively that ICANN had violated transparency obligations contained in the ByLaws and so I would think that this CCG Group would be very concerned about making certain that any proposed Review process would continue to incorporate Transparency review in particular and not just as an "Ad Hoc" consideration.

The Namecheap IRP Decision against ICANN is attached for reference.  I would suggest that anyone who does not want to read the entire decision simply search on the word "transparency".
Thank you,
Anne

Hello All,

As promised on our last call the co-chairs and the Org team have been working on pulling together all of the discussions to formulate a first draft set of ‘proposals’ for discussion. You can find the table here and it is also attached as a .pdf to this email.

On our call next Tuesday we will delve further into Bucket A and if we have time also discuss the Table BUT please consider the Table and post comments and questions to this list. We will run out of time if we don’t move some of our discussions to the list.

Cheers,

CD
