‘Light’ in this usage is the opposite of “heavy-handed” or controlling, it does not mean “light” as in “light comedy” or “not serious.” Nor does it mean we are coordinating beams of light, though some may accuse us of being agents of the Illuminati.

Truly, Kavouss, I do not think most people will interpret the ICG as not sufficiently serious because of the presence of that word. We are a very serious bunch. But maybe the term “light-handed coordination” would suit you better?
