Third F2F meeting - Oct 17
This week we got a few more responses to the face-to-face meeting doodle poll <http://doodle.com/76seg27mgz4i44m5> and by far the date with best availability for the group is October 17. ICANN staff has confirmed that there is a room available for us to meet that day in Los Angeles, with a hard stop at 17:30. So I think we should go ahead and schedule our third face-to-face meeting for that day and have ICANN staff make the arrangements. I realize this date does not work for everyone, but that is bound to be the case now and again in a group of this size (for example, I personally will not be able to attend in person on Sept 6 due to a prior conflict). We will have remote participation and translation as usual. Alissa

Hi Kavouss, Indeed I believe the group is aware of this. As mentioned in my previous note, accommodating the schedules of 32 people plus room scheduling and translation availability is always going to be a difficult task. For scheduling around ICANN 51, October 17 is by far the day that works for the most people, although it is indeed unfortunate that it does not work for you. I personally am in the same boat with Sept 6, as are several others — we will not be able to make it due to prior conflicts. I think this is just something we will have to deal with going forward given how many schedules we need to balance. Kavousss, we will all have to live with the fact that we cannot *all* make it to *every* meeting. From the poll it is clear that Oct 17th is the date that works best for the largest number of people. Personally I cannot make that date and place either due to prior unmovable conflicts. It is just a fact of life and not something any of us should take to mean her attendance is not valued. Daniel
