Versions and naming of documents
All, I see in Dropbox that we have for many documents a good naming structure for the documents themselves, but when we later finally agree on a document, we seem to not be clear enough what version of the document is really the final. This is something ultimately our secretarial will take care of on our web site where "final" versions of the documents should be available, but until then, I encourage people to name documents with -FINAL in the name. Dear Manal, Dear All,I fully agree with manal . Today I wanted to see which are the final documents on Charter, RFP, ICG Secretariat Support,Workplan /Timeline ,Guideline on Consensus Building,I could not find in dropbox any track to those docs. I asked Patrik, the desginer of Dropbox, he did not reply to me by now. May I ask Alissa, or Patrik to guide us Regards Kavouss 2014-10-02 14:33 GMT+02:00 Wu Kuo-Wei <kuoweiwu@gmail.com>:

Dear Kavouss, others, I have checked what versions of documents we have distributed. They can now be found in the "Distributed documents" in the Dropbox. As you can see, some distributed documents are only in PDF and some are draft versions. You and everyone else can always find the base documents in the respective folders for the documents, including the alternative formats (word format for example). I do though find it being very important that we keep the actual distributed versions separate so we know which ones they are.
