High intensity work period for CWG IANA

All, The fact that the documents highlighted in the mail below have now been published is an indication that we are entering a higher intensity period of work where there will be some pressure to turn work around. The run up to completing the implementation work will therefore be busy and, if we are to stay on top of the implementation work, will require dedication and focus from the CWG. You will shortly be receiving invitations to a series of CWG meetings. We will only hold these if we feel it necessary and productive in terms of the implementation. However, it will be helpful if you can plan to attend as many of these as possible. Thank-you. Though we had hoped to open PTI Bylaws public comment at the same time, the PTI Bylaws are not quite finalized yet. We recognize that there was a concern about creating the divergent in PTI document review process by starting the public comment period on a different date. However, a few days delay on PTI Bylaw's public comment will still allow enough overlap between the two public comments, as such, hopefully it will not be of a huge issue. We also believe that the other PTI governance documents are simple enough in nature as they are based on the ICANN's policy. The public comment period ends on 07 August. It is disappointing that the meetings are all scheduled at 15 UTC - this makes practical contributions from east Asia and the Pacific difficult. Was there any consideration of rotating the time slots, as the CCWG does? Best Jordan On Tuesday, 12 July 2016, Jonathan Robinson <jrobinson@afilias.info> wrote:

Thanks Jordan, Fair point. We were rotating originally and have started to use this slot more recently. Lise and I have a logistics and planning call later today, together with ICANN staff and we’ll do our best to factor that in.
