Thanks for the reminder ,

Its a public holiday in Macedonia , so I'm away from my desk and my laptop ...

I would like to apply for one of the slots if still available and if I'm eligible for one of course  !

As a way of very short summary.  I have attended my 5th ICANN meeting in Hyderabad in a capacity of a coach / mentor ellowship for the sellected fellows who have expressed interest in IP / IG matters , representing IPC

Further, as a member of the outreach & engagement team I have three  proposals for new members (  details sent to the  IPC outreach & engagement  mailing list  ) and I would like  to welcome them in Copenhagen which of course does not implies that all  three will become members until than...   !

Nevertheless, if there are no slots available , I intend to to attend ICANN Copenhagen on my own funding !

Thank you in advance,

A I.

LAST CALL: ICANN funded/arranged airfare to ICANN58 Copenhagen. (2 slots available)

Please reply right away if you're interested.  This does not disqualify you from applying for IPC support for your Copenhagen hotel.

Open to any IPC member who is an active participant in IPC matters (e.g., Working Groups, comment drafting, committees).

Thanks!

Just to reiterate -- the deadline for interest in ICANN-arranged (economy) airfare for Copenhagen is TOMORROW, THURSDAY, DECEMBER 8.  (Sorry for short notice, but we need to turn in our ICANN-funded travel list to ICANN on Friday and the availability of these slots was just confirmed.)

To clarify one aspect of the IPC Travel Funding: this covers airfare, hotel accommodations and ground transportation to/from airports only.  Actual expenses are reimbursed after the meeting up to a maximum of $2000.  This is "self-funded" by the IPC, so don't feel compelled to spend the whole $2,000.

The IPC is offering ICANN supported travel slots and IPC travel grants for ICANN58 to be held March 11-16, 2017 in Copenhagen, Denmark.  The offerings are described below with due dates for expression of interest.  We hope this will help those of you who would not otherwise attend this meeting to attend.  Please note that ICANN supported travel is subject to ICANN’s rules.  IPC grants are limited to reimbursements for airfare, ground transportation, meals and lodging.  Support in the amount of US$2,000 per member for up to four IPC members will be awarded based on participation so please be sure to include in your request a summary of your IPC and ICANN participation.   Previous travel support over the past 12 months also will be taken into consideration.   Also, please note that in the event that you are awarded travel support, you will be expect to attend all IPC related meetings and events in Copenhagen.

ICANN Supported Travel – Expressions of Interest DUE BY December 8 (TOMORROW)

2 ICANN supported Coach airfares (booked by ICANN).

IPC Grants – Expressions of Interest DUE BY December 16th.

4 @ $2,000 each.  Must be substantiated with receipts and will be reimbursed after Copenhagen.

Those who apply for ICANN travel support and do not receive it will be rolled into the pool for IPC grants unless you inform us otherwise.

Thank you.
