Dennis is currently on PTO and he had asked that I update the IRT while he is out.

As Dennis had informed the IRT last week, upon receipt of a letter <https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/correspondence/caballero-to-sinha-23au...> from the GAC to the Board on 23 August, we had decided to hold the publication until the Board and ICANN org had a chance to understand GAC’s concerns and suggestions. During the Board Workshop held in Istanbul this weekend, the Board discussed the urgent requests provision in light of the GAC letter and a letter <https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/correspondence/heineman-to-sinha-08sep...> of 8 September from the Registrar Stakeholder Group. The Board decided that additional time is needed to consider the appropriate next steps and therefore we will continue to hold the publication until future notice. We will ensure to keep the IRT in the loop as we have updates.
