SECOND CALL!!
CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS - gNSO RESTRUCTURING
WORK TEAMS
This is a very important opportunity for
you to serve the constituency
and the ICANN community as a whole.
As part of the restructuring of ICANN,
the ISP community needs to be
actively engaged in the work of making
improvements to the structure
and work of the gNSO. This is an
opportunity for you to participate
and make sure that the voice of the ISP
community is heard at this
important time.
The gNSO is forming Work Teams to
implement specific improvements in
the following five areas:
1] A new and improved Policy Development
Process (PDP)
2] A standardized Working Group model
for GNSO policy development
GNSO Council operations
3] Stakeholder group and constituency
processes and operations; and
4] Efforts to improve the various
communications functions in the
GNSO community that will
lead to broader and more effective
participation in all policy
development activities.
These Work Teams are open to all ICANN
stakeholders, providing an
opportunity for broad sharing of
insights and expertise. We are
especially interested in having
volunteers from the ISP community
to serve on each of the Work Teams.
Will you please consider volunteering
for one of the Work Teams on
behalf of ISPs?
If you would be interested in
volunteering, please let the constituency
know by Wednesday, January 21st?
Please drop a note to
\mcfadden@ispcp.info
with the group you would be interested in
working with.
In advance, thanks for your efforts and
work on behalf of ISPs in ICANN.
