I’m really sorry to hear this. Your presence in Singapore at such an important time for ICANN would have proved beneficial for all of us.

Your contribution will be badly missed and the circumstances under which this happened make it particularly unpalatable. As a member of the Exec Committee and as a councillor your travel requirements certainly should have received some priority.

I will arrange the proxy for Council, if you’re unsure whether you can join by telephone.

Dear Tony and Glen,

Unfortunately I had some problems with the flight itinerary that ICANN provided for my trip to Singapore which haven't been solved till now.

Being so near to the dates of the meeting and with no confirmation of my flights I have decided to cancel everything and suspend my participation.

I am really sorry and will try to participate remotely in as many sessions as I can.  Tony can you send the paperwork to delegate my vote to you?
