Just a short update on the major results of the council meeting from yesterday (agenda + comments inserted):

Item 3: Outreach Task Force Charter

The motion to adopt the OTF charter failed (9 yes, rest abstentions). A small team (so far Zahid Jamil; William Drake; Knoben, Wolf-Ulrich; Wendy Seltzer; john@crediblecontext.com; Neuman, Jeff; Dykes, Roy plus Julie Hedlund from staff) shall work on a revised motion which may include resolved clauses for the Council to approve the revised charter.

Item 4: UDRP

Mary's motion (to start a PDP immediately) failed.
Jeff's motion (to start a PDP 18 months after the implementation of new gTLDs) was suggested with an amendment made by D. Taylor:

That shall be on the next council agenda.

Item 5: Dakar Board resolution on the Registrar Accreditation Agreement Amendments RAA
