· Council issues. Wolf-Ulrich provided an update, Jaime Wagner was unable to join the call. The GNSO meeting planned for July had been cancelled and the next meeting is now scheduled for September 22nd. Concern was expressed by ISPCP members over any potential delay to the start of the gTLD applicant support process that remains dependent upon the agreed output from the JAS wg. Any delay is likely to impact the viability and perception of the gTLD process and should be avoided. ISPCP Councillors were requested to raise this matter when the report from the JAS wg is again considered by Council
· Election of GNSO Chair. The GNSO chair election is due to take place in Senegal. Along with other CSG Constituencies no decisions have been made within the CSG. A separate call to discuss this will be arranged if required in advance of the Senegal meeting
· ATRT: members were reminded of the ICANN webinar scheduled for 31st August, 14.00 – 15.30 UTC where an update on key issues will be provided.
