Subject: FW: INVITATION TO
BUSINESS HOSTED DINNER SUNDAY NIGHT - NAIROBI, MARCH 7/please RSVP
Dear colleagues
I
have been asked by the Computer Society of Kenya, in conjunction with WITSA, to
forward the attached invitation to you to a reception with dinner to follow, organized
by the local Kenyan business community, for Sunday evening, March 7, from 7:30
p.m. - 8:00 p.m. -- Reception, and Dinner beginning at approximately 8:00 p.m.,
at the Hilton Hotel in Nairobi.
My
role is this is to facilitate outreach and interaction with the ICANN community
of leaders and business attendees. The local organizers are inviting the Kenyan
business community and key leaders, and their goal is to have a broad
attendance from the global business and other invited guests, from the global
ICANN community. You will recall that I mentioned this event to you in
earlier discussions.
I
am expecting that you are coming to Nairobi for the ICANN meeting, OR that you
have members who may attend, who haven't registered in the ICANN attendance,
and I don't want to miss any of our colleagues from the ISPs, IPC, or BC
community. THUS, even if you are not attending, but one of your
colleagues is, please forward this, and send me an email so that I can ensure
that they are confirmed for all other sessions of relevance to the business
community.
This
reception and dinner is a significant commitment from our colleagues in the
Kenyan business community, and I trust that you will make it a priority to
attend. If you have a guest, just let me know and I'll add that name to the
list that I've submitted to the organizers.
The
ICANN Board and senior staff, GAC leadership and other ICANN senior community
leaders are also invited.
The
invitation, attached, provides an rsvp, to which I ask that you confirm your
acceptance of the reception and dinner.
It
would be helpful if you would also let me know by a cc to marilynscade@hotmail.com, that you
have confirmed. This will limit the number of messages that I keep
sending you!
I
look forward to seeing you at the Nairobi ICANN meeting, and especially at this
special event, organized and hosted by business leaders from Kenya.
Best
regards
Marilyn
