Subject: Variant type of CGP repertoire

Dear Hanchuan

 

         According to the work plan, CGP marks the variant type for every code point in the current CGP repertoire, in the XML-format(draft-davies-idntables-08, Representing Label Generation Rulesets using XML).

         CGP also makes another EXCEL version in the format of appendix F, Procedure to Develop and Maintain the Label Generation Rules for the Root Zone in Respect of IDNA Labels

 

         The variant type is consistent with the CDNC solution and RFC 3743/4713.

         Which means, the second column (the preferred variants) will be “allocatable”, while the rest variants will be “blocked”.

 

         Now we’d like to ask IP to give comments on these two documents.

         And please help forward them to JGP and KGP for their comments as well.
