Dear all

On August 18th 2015, Jacqueline Morris proposed an amendment to the motion presented by  Alejandro Pisanty.

 The amendment is as follows:

" Each LACRALO monthly teleconference should (not must) include adequate time on the agenda for discussion of substantive policy issues, especially current ICANN public consultations. If this is not on the agenda, the Secretariat should explain the rationale at least 1 week before the teleconference. (Acceptable reasons are other urgent business, special guests or special topic meetings, for example)"

Alejandro Pisanty agrees to accept this amendment and withdraw his motion so we can focus on substantive issues.

We think that being the comments regarding  Alejandro Pisanty  dealt with  and seeing agreement on this proposal, there  is consensus about  this motion.

See page:

https://community.icann.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=54692654

Therefore, we understand that there  is consensus (synonymous of general agreement referred to in Article 12.8 of  RoPs), unless there is significant opposition which would require a vote on this issue.  The timeframe to issue opinions against this decisión is 7 days counted from the time this email is  sent.

With this email we cancel the vote on Alejandro Pisanty's motion and consider as agreed by  consensus the wording  proposed by  Jacqueline Morris.

Regards

Alberto Soto
