By now all of you should have been notified that the election process has started and will be effect until the 15th. I urge all to participate fully in choosing the candidate from this region that can serve and serve with distinction on the ALAC.

I will ask staff to provide the links for the Statements of Interest for review. It would have been helpful and encouraging for a larger turnout at the Meet the Candidates session, but again, the information about the candidates will be made available to help with the decision making process.
