Clarification from ICANN Staff on ICANN BoD Geographic Diversity Slide (# 5)

 

“The data includes the number of non-voting ICANN Board members in addition to voting ICANN Board members. Please see the names for the NA & EU regions below that indicate 6 Board members. Please note: The numbers are pulled from the Accountability Indicators: 3.3 - Chart showing diversity of ICANN Board https://www.icann.org/accountability-indicators [icann.org] [mailtrack.io]

 

When the NomCom makes its nominations to select voting ICANN Board members, the NomCom shall ensure that the total number of Directors cannot exceed five and to select at least one Director from the country in each ICANN Geographic Region.
