I hope ICANN76 organizers address the issue of visas to avoid some of the mishaps of previous conferences. Although members from most LACRALO states have no problem entering Mexico, I just learned that:

- Venezuelans must request their visa at the Mexican consulate https://home.kpmg/xx/en/home/insights/2022/01/flash-alert-2022-013.html

- Nigerians with a Schengen visa may be denied entry unless they show an entry stamp from a Schengen country https://www.travelwithapen.com/mexican-visa-requirements-for-nigerians/

- Many African and Asian countries listed in https://www.inm.gob.mx/gobmx/word/index.php/paises-requieren-visa-para-mexico/

https://embamex.sre.gob.mx/ has links to the different Mexican consulates worldwide with their requirements.

Dear All,

We hope that all ICANN75 in-person and remote participants had a successful meeting!

On behalf of Jonathan Zuck, ALAC Chair, we are seeking volunteers to join the ICANN76 At-Large Planning Committee. Ideally, one or two representatives from each region, to assist with the planning of the At-Large Leadership working sessions at ICANN76.

We will hold weekly calls if necessary (subject to the outcome of the Doodle) - with the first one planned in 2 weeks time.

Please confirm whether you are interested in volunteering by responding to Jonathan and myself, Gisella: staff@atlarge.icann.org.(please do NOT reply to all i.e the ALAC Announce mailing list) by Friday 14 October at 20:00 UTC. A Doodle will be sent out to the volunteers shortly after this deadline.

A mailing list will be set up for this group and we look forward to making ICANN76 a successful Hybrid Community Forum!
