Here my feedback from these  questions related to Request 1

Your comment: 

 I believe there is no need to have neither a formal group or a centralized one. When an issue will arise the leadership team of each Ralo – in our case -  can address the issue and if not able to address it can send all the information to the Ombudsman

“This ad hoc group would be tasked with providing valuable advice to the Ombudsman or ICANN on diversity complaints and issues.”

Your comment: 

  First, valuable advice to the Ombudsman can be done by the leadership team of the RALO ( in our case) since they got the respect of the community they became leaders and also due the local cultural knowledge they have .

“The identification of these trends, and the possible formation of an ad hoc diversity group may arise from the Continuous Improvement Program or future Holistic Reviews.”

Your comment:

If the group will understand necessary it can be suggested by the result of Continuos Improvement Program (CIP)inside each community. In the RALO in our case

The attendance to our meeting on 1 August 2023 was lower compared to our previous meetings. However, some issues were raised during the meeting regarding the recommendation section of the report. In addition to recommendation 1.7, recommendation 3.1 was explained to the group during our last meeting. This email will include an agenda for the next meeting, and two action requests from the participants of CCG.

REQUEST #2:

 

As explained during the last meeting, and stated in the formation of the WS2 CCG, participants may wish to share information about implementation efforts related to Recommendation 3.1 (Human Rights Framework). You can find Human Rights Framework of Interpretation Final Report and Recommendations here on p.79 (Annex 3).

 

The request from participants from Supporting Organizations and Advisory Committees is to report on their groups’ activities to this mailing list related to HR-FOI (Rec 3.1) before our meeting on 7 September 2023 20:00UTC. Activities in your groups will be shared during the meeting.
