Dear All, There was a informal LACRALO meeting during the ICANN meeting in Singapore on 22 June 2011. The LACRALO conference call on 21 July 2011 will discuss the issues and outcomes raised at the 22 June 2011 meeting. With regards to the LACRALO representatives to the ALAC and the lack of consensus on: - the possibility of such a representative to be re-elected for a 2nd consecutive term. - having a diversity requirement for one representative be from the Latin American region and the other representative be from the Caribbean region, there will be a LACRALO conference call scheduled for Thursday July 28 2011 to discuss this issue. I suggest that written documents for and against the diversity requirement be submitted by Monday 25 July 2011 so that it can be translated in time for LACRALO's consideration for the Thursday July 28 conference call.
