According to documents LACRALO organization, President and the Secretary mandate is one year each. The terms of the current President and Secretary of LACRALO end on May 5, 2013. The current LACRALO President is José Francisco Arce from Ageia Densi Argentina. The current LACRALO Secretary is Sylvia Herlein Leite from Internauta Brasil. ----------------------------- If there is any representative of an accredited LACRALO ALS who want to apply to any of the charges: • the position of LACRALO President or • the position of LACRALO Secretary, Please send an email to LACRALO Secretary: sylvia@internautabrasil.org ---------------------------------- Election Calendar Self-nominations will be accepted, as well as, nominations made by representatives of ALS. The deadline for nominations for both positions will be open until March 7, 2013 at 23:59 UTC. The nominee must accept or decline the nomination until March 7, 2013 at 23:59 UTC. A list of representatives LACRALO ALSs and will be sent by At-Large staff to the mailing list to confirm the list of participants in this election ALS. There will be a 90 minutes teleconference for Questions and Exhibition candidates to both charges in the week from 8 to 15 March 2013. If it is necessary, a second meeting will be held in the week from 16 to 23 March 2013. As usual, we encourage all to submit writing questions in advance for the candidates, but it will also permitted during the teleconference.. We will have seven days to vote online to express the will of the ALS on who will be the LACRALO President & LACRALO Secretary during the period from May 6, 2013 to May 5, 2014. Voting will begin on April 9, 2013 and end on April 16, 2013 at 23:59 UTC. Each ALSs representative will receive, two weeks before the voting period, a personal and individual credential for online voting by the At-Large staff. At the end of the voting period, the votes shall be counted in accordance with Rule 12.9 of the Rules of Procedure of LACRALO (each vote is weighted with the coefficient of the country to which each ALS is), and the results of the vote, will be given on the list by the current Secretary of the region, Sylvia Herlein Leite.
