Regarding the proceedings for the programme preparations, the persons "in charge" (those who declared themselves ready already to take over a particular programme slot -- see my listing below) prepare the content/inputs on a subject. They can be the resource persons by themselves or organise some more inputs (let's say for a small panel or round table).

As we discussed at the Summit call last Tuesday and according to the important suggestions by Dharma, each programme element further needs a chair person or moderator - or even better a "facilitator" who is in charge of a good conduct and an inclusive group dynamic. Besides this, one (minimum) to two rapporteurs for each group are needed for notes and summaries and to assure the reporting back to the plenary and closing session.

If you can organise and provide all the functions and requirements mentioned for your group (Transparency and Accountability) this would be perfect! Otherwise the organisers concentrate on "their" respective inputs/resource persons and the Summit WG can assist you with finding a suitable facilitator and rapporteurs for your group (but we must know it in advance for organising assistance).

Other foreseen programme elements (to be discussed): -ICANN / Internet Bill of rights? -Consumer protection/ price control on domain name registration? -Freedom of expression and new gTLDs? -Competition and anti-trust rules on the registrar and registry level? -gTLDs and Gender aspects?

sorry for missing the call but my stay in the hospital after a meniscus surgery lasted longer than expected. Fortunately I am back home for the holidays but will be bound by sticks for the next six week. No travel.

Following the proceedings I can confirm my readiness to chair the Transparency and Accountability working group. How do we proceed should I formulate a call to ask for volunteers to join? Thanks Adam for signalling your readiness.
