Dear LAC members, I wish to express my gratitude to Jacqueline for nominating me as a Nomcom candidate and I officially accept her nomination. She did in fact discuss the nomination proposal and garner my acceptance before making the nomination. I also appreciate the kind sentiments of Carlton, Lance and Dev Anand (my TTCS ALS colleague of many years). I am quite excited about the role that Nomcom members play in ICANN, keen to have a say and happy to actively contribute in this way. That being said, I am humbled by the experience of the 2007- 2008 members and passionately determined to fill the lacuna that their term expiration creates.
