ICANN has published a new version of the Applicant Guidebook that describes how an prospective applicant can apply for a new generic Top Level Domain (gTLD). This 30 May 2011 version contains updates based on community feedback and the consultations between ICANN's Board of Directors and the Goverment Advisory Committee in May 2011 ICANN's Board of Directors will consider approval of the new gTLD Program during ICANN’s international meeting in Singapore at an extraordinary meeting on Monday 20 June 2011.
