the statement was discussed during the weekly ALAC and ALAC Executive Committee calls last week and it was resolved that Alan Greenberg and Evan Leibovitch would work together to amend it, following input received. A new version is now shown on the Web page already advertised below and I invite all At-Large members to send their comments directly to the wiki page or to At-Large staff at staff@atlarge.icann.org

The new deadline for comments is 23:59 UTC on Saturday 7 May 2011.
