I think that participation in LACRALO calls should not be the only statistics taken into consideration - we should also consider participation in wider At Large and ICANN projects, such as Working Groups, as well as service in other areas of ICANN. Remember, there are time conflicts with work, childcare etc that can prevent people from attending scheduled calls - for example, I almost always teach an adult student class on Thursday evenings, and have not attended a call for years because of that conflict... Maybe a questionnaire for candidates would help to even the playing field with regard to our knowledge of some candidates? Jacqueline A.
