Nomination for ALAC member for LACRALO
I would like to nominate Dev Anand Teelucksingh for the position of ALAC representative from the LACRALO. Dev has been deeply involved in ICANN and LACRALO since the inception. As Secretariat for the past 3 years, he has been instrumental in the growth of both LACRALO and AtLarge, as well as deeply involved in policy development, chairing several ALAC working groups. He's been the initator of many useful ALAC initiatives, such as the regional dashboards, policy advice schedule, AtLarge Improvements, and the Technology Task Force, which task he shouldered alone for quite a while. Over the years, he has proven to be a real team player, working in tandem with people from all stakeholder groups within ICANN. Dev is an amazing individual with an incredible capacity for hard work, which we have all seen in action. I believe that he will be a brilliant ALAC representative, and will make LACRALO proud.

I wish to unreservedly second this nomination. Dev has certainly proved his value to LACRALO by virtue of his hard work, dedication and most importantly, extensive knowledge of the processes utilised by the ICANN ecosystem in general and the At-large in particular. I second this nomination with unreserved enthusiasm. Dev might just be the hardest-working member from this region. His devotion to duty, sterling contributions to the region, the At-Large and ICANN are incontestable. Only some of them are mentioned by Jacqueline. Quite frankly, he is likely better prepared to be on the ALAC than any before. It is to the At-Large's great advantage that he accepts this nomination. And to LACRALO's sense of mission and sober judgment that he is voted into office by members. Dear All, It is with great humility that I accept the nomination to serve on the ALAC as a representative from the Latin American and Caribbean Regional At-Large Organisation (LACRALO). I have read, understood and fully accept the "obligations and responsibilities of ALAC members" document and the "position descriptions of ALAC members" document and am willing to continue to serve the interests of Internet end users in the LAC region and the global At-Large in the capacity as the ALAC representative from LACRALO. Dear Dev, You have already proven your commitment to Lacralo and dedication in time and effort to At Large. Lacralo and At Large would be at a loss for not having you deeply involved in their work. Therefore, I am pleased to read your nomination acceptance and fully support your selection as Lacralo's ALAC member.
