Dear Sergio: I have sought to support and give you comfort but regrettably, we have a misunderstanding of the fundamentals of governance. You told me that there were concerns raised by unidentified others regarding conflicts of interest with two members by virtue of funding and the employment status of one of their leaders. You said an informal call would suffice as comfort for those others who raised the issue. You suggested that I come on the call. Prior to the call I addressed the issues you told me were raised on the list. I made it clear there was no conflict of interest by addressing both issues separately there. But as a courtesy, I joined the call. I had every expectation that the end of the call was the end of the query. It appears I was wrong. The document you shared actually represents a backdoor process to change the Rules of Procedure at this stage of an election. As such, it is both wrong headed and out of order. I treated the matter as best as I could by speculating this further call was based on someone invoking Title VII, Section 24 of the RoP. I asked for the evidence and outlined the process. You use Eduardo Galaleano as a tag on your emails. Like you, I admire his words. We wish to avoid a humiliation of our conscience and a violation of our common sense. The official document is already filed and until such time as the ALS is decertified, there is no other process that can delegitimize the ALS.

This is hopelessly wrong. It is null and void, without any claim to validity under the current RoP.
