Dear members of Latin American and Caribbean Islands Regional At-Large Organization (LACRALO) My name is *Eunice Alejandra Perez Coello*, I was born and I live in Merida Yucatan Mexico, I am an electronics engineer and I have a Masters in Information Technology Management with a specialty in Information Security, specialty in teaching and certificate in internet governance. Since 2004 I've been working in the Tecnológico Nacional de México campus Mérida starting as an assistant in network support and currently I am a professor and head of research projects in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. The first meeting I attended at ICANN was virtually in 2020 when I was selected as a fellow in the Women in Technology Center for Internet Development program in LAC participating in various webinars, conferences, workshops and meetings on topics such as DNSSEC, Internet Governance, IPv6, RPKI Internet Security among others. I started to get more involved when I was invited to join the ANUIES Information Technologies Committee as technical secretary of the Commission for the Ecosystem and Development of Internet collaboration in Higher Education Institutions (CEDIIES) performing together with the commission activities focused on education, training, awareness and diffusion of DNS, Internet Governance, MANRS, IPv6, Internet Metering and now also in Universal Acceptance Today in ICANN I am a member of LACRALO Regional At-Large Organizations (RALOs) as a member of ALS ISOC Mexico and NCUC Non-Commercial Users Constituency. I have been selected as a fellow ICANN75 Kuala Lumpur 2022 and ICANN78 Hamburg 2023 receiving the "Tarek Kamel fellowship recognition" award recognizing the outstanding contributions of fellows in promoting ICANN's capacity building efforts in their respective regions, in 2023 I was in charge of the Mexico hub within the LACNOG initiative - "*For a multilingual internet in the LAC region*" for the UADay2023 and this year we held the discussion table "*Integrating Universal Acceptance in the curricula of Mexico's higher education institutions*."as our own initiative integrating the ANUIES National Association of Universities and ANUIES IT through its Commission for Collaboration in the Ecosystem and Internet Development in Higher Education Institutions (CEDIIES), the Technological Institute of Merida (TecNM campus Merida) and the Universidad Modelo. I believe that in order to promote the participation of end users it is necessary to generate awareness strategies for education and capacity building to obtain and strengthen their ability to act, share opinions and make public contributions to ICANN for the benefit of our region and for this it is necessary to make proposals that provide opportunities for their participation taking into account inclusion and diversity, something that I will work on if I become part of ALAC Member. I remain at your disposal for any further information you may require. cordial greetings
