Community Feedback Shapes the Revised Draft of ICANN's Next Strategic Plan
|
By Chris Chapman and Maarten Botterman, ICANN Board
As Co-Chairs of the Board Strategic Planning Committee (BSPC), we are committed to ensuring that the next ICANN Strategic Plan reflects the diverse perspectives and priorities of our global community.
Transparency and collaboration are foundational to the strategic planning process, and we are pleased to present the revised draft of the Strategic Plan for fiscal years 2026–2030, which the BSPC is recommending to the Board to consider for adoption at ICANN82. This version reflects the input we received during the Public Comment proceeding.
We encourage you to review the revised draft and consider how we can collaborate to effectively execute our shared Strategic Plan. Your ongoing engagement is vital to ensuring the success of the next Strategic Plan. Please join this Prep Week session for an in-depth look at the revised draft.

ICANN Board Engagement With the ICANN Community
|
The ICANN Board invites the community to participate in this 60-minute session, which will offer two breakout sessions where you can share your views. The breakouts, hosted by different ICANN Board members, will focus on two topics of interest: "Advancing the Global Public Interest" and "Updating ICP-2."
Following a brief welcome plenary, community members will be asked to join one of the two breakout sessions for a 40-minute discussion with the Board host for that topic. Attendees will be able to move freely between the breakout rooms. The session will conclude with all attendees coming together to hear a summary of each discussion.
