Dear GP members,

 

Public comment period is open for Root Zone Label Generation Rules Version 5 (RZ-LGR-5)  till May the 5th, 2022.

I am asking you to look at it and submit your comments if there are any.

I have reviewed, with Pitinan’s help, following documents:

1.The validation test results (latin-test-labels-27jan22-en.txt, attached) were reviewed against the test files created by the Latin GP (https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/latin-test-labels-27jan22-en.txt) and confirmed that Latin script rz-lgr-5 validate the test labels as expected. 

 

2. The variant sets were reviewed and confirmed that the rz-lgr-5 variant sets are aligned with the varaint definitions in the GP proposal (https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/proposal-latin-lgr-27jan22-en.pdf).   

 

3. I have reviewed the description part at https://www.icann.org/sites/default/files/lgr/rz-lgr-5-latin-script-24mar22-en.html  and found that there is no change required. 

 

4.  I will submit my comment on https://www.icann.org/en/public-comment/proceeding/root-zone-label-generation-rules-version-5-rz-lgr-5-24-03-2022 

 

Pitinan has attached one more test result (labels_variants_rz-lgr-5-latin-script-24mar22-en-v10.xlsx) which I am forwarding to you. It is the result of variant calculation. We have not reviewed this during our meeting as the result came later.
