Pitinan reminded me that we have not done everything what was necessary with new added code points for Serer and Kpelle language. We could discuss it tomorrow and prepare the necessary tables for  evaluation of variants. If you agree the Agenda for tomorrow meeting could be

  1. Preparation for evaluation of variant pairs for  code points added for Serer and Kapelle languages:

    Adding Serer would entail adding 3 code points for Serer to the repertoire: 
    U 0188  Small Letter C with Hook  ƈ 
    U 01A5  Small Letter P with Hook  ƥ  
    U 01AD  Small Letter T with Hook  ƭ 
     
    For Kpelle we would also need to add: 
    U 0260  Small Letter G with Hook  ɠ 

Questions to be answered:
Volunteer needed to prepare table  for evaluation.
When the tables could be ready for evaluation?
When the evaluation should be finalized?

  1. Next call  to be decided during this call, proposal is January the 7th, 2021

There is one open issue the GP have not concluded, if I’m not wrong.

We have added four additional code points from the newly added language, but the variant for them have not been analyzed.

 

Adding Serer would entail adding 3 code points for Serer to the repertoire:

U 01A5  Small Letter P with Hook  ƥ  

U 01AD  Small Letter T with Hook  ƭ 

 

For Kpelle we would also need to add: 

U 0260  Small Letter G with Hook  ɠ 

 

From the meeting on 5 November, the GP agreed to add these code points and continue to discuss the variant for these code point in the later meetings.

This could be one of the agenda for the meeting this week.
