Dear GP members ,
Here are some information on how I produced the table in question.
I.
The table
00-LatinLanguages-A-Z-V04-EGIDSOrder
Main source for languages using Latin script was
http://www.omniglot.com/writing/langalph.htm
In the middle of this page there is a non-exhaustive list of languages using Latin script, which I took and used it to form the main row (Language) in the table
00-LatinLanguages-A-Z-V04-EGIDSOrder
All the other columns are filled using copy/paste function and getting information about every language using:
|
ISO 639-3 |
Classification |
Population |
EGIDS |
Language map |
are collected form the site https://www.ethnologue.com/browse/names
browsing the entry for every individual language, and copying relevant information in the table
00-LatinLanguages-A-Z-V04-EGIDSOrder.
I must admit, I had no time to double check all the information, so there might be some mistakes in the table
00-LatinLanguages-A-Z-V04-EGIDSOrder.
This task took me three months to fulfill.
Regards Mirjana
