I may have a more extensive response when I've had time to go thru this again.  But I do want to point out that is is NOT correct to say that I am the only one who has called for including more languages.  There is also the comment from the At Large Advisory Committee.  Which, in ICANN's multistakeholder model, is the designated voice for end users.  That is, precisely the constituency for the IDN project.
